Respiratory care unit has been working since the inception of the ‘Asthma Bhawan.’

Respiratory Care Services:
• Asthma Care:
1. Asthma & Allergy Evaluation and Management.
2. Education of asthma triggering factors.
3. Skin Test/Allergy Test.

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Care.
• Ventilation support.

Every day OPD starts at 8 AM in the morning. About 100 patients visit the OPD per day. From them around 40 patients are new & 60 are follow-up cases.

Various visiting consultants are closely associated with the hospital as part time consultants or in honorary capacity. Their expertise is solicited as and when required in case of system specific acute emergencies requiring extra or additional expert support.
